First stop will be Sameba Cathedral – the highest cathedral in the Caucasus. Next, you will visit Metekhi church, erected on the cliff above the river Mtkvari. Kakheti Tour

Kakheti region is known as Georgian wine cradle. Our first stop is Sighnaghi-the city of love and prettiest town in Kakheti.  Sighnaghi is characteristic by its panoramic views of Alazani valley and the Caucasus mountain gorge, narrow streets, colorful balconies which creates the Italianate feel. Here we can visit several wine shops and taste local wine. Afterwards, drive to Tsinandali Estate. It is the cradle of classical winemaking of Georgia, the place where Georgian wine was first bottled. The complex embraces the memorial house museum of Aleksandre Chavchavadze, a landscape garden, a historic winery, wine cellar. The vineyards have been restored and wine production has resumed. Old Winery consists of over 15 000 bottles, with the oldest dated to 1814. The landscape garden in Tsinandali is the first European-type recreation zone in Georgia. The garden is unique for its exotic plants and layout. In it, there is “the Love Lane”. The legend says that if lovers can walk through it with their eyes shut, their life together will be happy.

Kazbegi Tour

You will visit mountainous region of Georgia named Kazbegi. The road to Kazbegi goes through the Georgian Military Road, which runs between Georgia and Russia. On the way to Kazbegi, you will stop at Ananuri Fortress (XIII century) which overlooks the Jinvali water reservoir and creates incredible views of the colorful area. Through the Cross Pass, you will arrive in the small village of Kazbegi, in the highlands of Georgia. One of the most remarkable destinations of this region is the Holy Trinity Church, erected on the southern slope of Mount Kazbek. The Church is located at a height of 2200 m above sea level, and provides a beautiful view of Mount Kazbek. The Holy Trinity Church accompanied with snow-peaked mount Mkinvartsveri (5047 m) creates an amazing view and is considered as a symbol of this region. Next destination is Dariali Gorge, located on the border between Russia and Georgia. At the end of the trip you will drive to Tbilisi.

Spirit of Caucasus

Discover the spirit of Caucasus with a tour of mountainous region of Georgia.
The tour will start a trip to Kazbegi - the part of the northern slope of the Caucasus mountain range that encompasses Tergi, Truso and Sno river valleys. The center of the region is village of Stepantsminda (formerly called as Kazbegi) at the foot of mountain Kazbeg (5033km). During your visit, you will see the 14th century Gergeti Trinity Church, have a picnic lunch on the way Hike to Sabertse (300m) and dinner with an overnight stay at the camp. Next stop is the meteorological station and finally climb to the top of mount Kazbeg (5033 m).
